No! It is absolutely free! Watching itself is free. When you register (also free), you can send e-mails, create playlists, download your playlists to your video iPod, vote on videos, upload content to share with friends, share in contests, and enjoy other cool features.
Do I have to register to vote?
Yes! As a benefit of registration, you can vote on videos, giving them rating stars for other viewers.
Is there a cost to share videos?
No! It is absolutely free! You just need to register and validate your email before you can send video links with friends.
Why aren't the videos playing on my computer?
You may not have Flash installed on your computer's browser. You can download flash here.
How do I upload a video?
You must be a registered user to upload a video. After registering and logging in, click on the "Upload" link and follow the steps.

Yes! As a benefit of registration, you are allowed to upload your videos and share them on the site.

What is a playlist?
A playlist is a group of videos. It can be videos from the site and/or videos that you upload. We have already placed some video playlists up for you based on age, topic, and combinations of both age and topic. But you can customize the playlists and make your own based on your interests and preferences.
How do I make a playlist?
You have two key steps. First, you'll need to create and name the playlist. From "My Playlist" at the top of the page, you will be taken to the "Create Playlist" button. On the right hand of the next screen, hit the "Create" button. You now can name your playlist and select whether it is Public (for everyone) or Private (for just you). Now you have finished step one and have an empty playlist to start from.
Next, go directly to your favorite videos on the player. You'll need to be on the video itself, not just a playlist. On the top of the list of buttons, click "Add to my Playlist". You'll be taken to another page, where you will pick the playlist(s) for this video by clicking the circle(s) underneath. Click "Next" and you should reach a window that says "Success" - you've added a video! You can repeat this with other videos to create a playlist for viewing or even downloading to your iPod.
From the Playlist menu, you can remove videos by clicking "Update Playlist". You can also use this window to e-mail this playlist to friends or to download it to your video iPod as an mpeg4 file.
How do I delete a playlist?
Click "My Playlists" from the top and click "Welcome" to reach your Playlists. Click the playlist you would like to delete and click the ""Remove Playlist" button. It will be gone without a second chance, so double-check before deleting.
How do I share my playlist?
Click on the "My Playlist" link on the top navigation bar, and click on "Share Playlists." From there, follow the on-screen directions.
What is "Show and Tell"?
"Show and Tell" is the area on the website where you can upload your videos, pictures, and even your Holiday letter - just for your friends and family. You can share anything you want in this secure spot.
How do I share videos?
This is for sharing the videos that you have uploaded for family and friends, so you will need to Upload Videos first. After you have videos in the system, you can click on the "Show and Tell" link on the top navigation bar, and click on "Share Video." From there, follow the on-screen directions to send links to those videos to your friends.
Is there a cost to share videos?
No! It is absolutely free to our members.
Can I control the privacy of my videos?
Yes! You can choose who sees your videos and only allow your friends and family to view them.
How do I download my Playlist?
It is not possible to download playlists at this time. However, it is possible to embed your playlists on different websites by copying and pasting the embed code. The embed code is found at the playlist details page by clicking on the "menu" button at the bottom left of the video player screen, and clicking on "embed player".
Is there a cost to download videos for my video iPod?
No! It is absolutely free though you have to have your own video iPod.
Is my playlist confidential?
Yes. You determine who it goes to and who is allowed to see it. And only the people you want to see it are allowed to. You are in total control of your playlist.
You only have short clips on the website. How instead can I watch full length programming?
You can enjoy whole selections by Series, which are groups of clips from the same shows and producers. On the Internet, we have found people like to enjoy the video this way. However, we also have the video on many cable, satellite, and IPTV systems as Video-on-Demand.
If you click on the button along the top navigation bar that says this Month on TV, you will be able to see the shows available with the cable and satellite companies that carry our full-length, On Demand programming. If you live in an area where we are not carried on your cable or satellite provider, please call them and request us. It is that easy!

Printables are activity sheets -- mazes, coloring pages, word finds -- that you can download or print for more fun with your family, continuing to share the programming long after the computer is turned off.
